How it works

1

Push

Write your app in any language. Add a Dockerfile and a kyper.yml. Run kyper push — that's it.

2

Review

We build your image, run a Trivy security scan, and review the code. Usually 1–2 business days.

3

Earn

Your app is listed on the marketplace. Consumers buy or subscribe. You keep 85% on purchases and 100% of your subscription royalty.

What you get

Everything you need to ship, sell, and support your software.

Build pipeline

Push your code. We build the image. No CI/CD to set up, no registry to manage.

Security scanning

Trivy scans every build for known CVEs. Results show up in your portal automatically.

Managed hosting

Each subscriber gets their own private cloud instance — server, database, and TLS routing included.

Payment processing

Stripe-powered checkout for one-time purchases and subscriptions. You earn, we handle the plumbing.

Automatic updates

Ship a patch and every subscriber gets it automatically. Major versions are consumer opt-in.

Developer portal

Earnings, build logs, subscriber counts, and payout history — all in one dashboard.

Recommended

Ship with the GitHub App

Run kyper init once to generate your kyper.yml, connect the GitHub App, and you're set. Every release from that point is just a tag push — no tokens, no CI scripts, no CLI needed again.

  • ✓ No workflow files to maintain — Kyper handles everything from the webhook
  • ✓ GitHub Check Runs on every tag — live build status in your commit list
  • ✓ Monorepo support — one installation, multiple apps via different kyper.yml paths
  • ✓ Pre-release tags (v1.0.0-rc.1) trigger a live test deploy — auto-destroyed after 1 hour
~/invoice-hero — Terminal
# Your entire release workflow
$ git tag v1.2.0
$ git push origin v1.2.0
# GitHub Check Run updates automatically
⏳ Kyper Build · queued
🔄 Kyper Build · in progress
✓ Kyper Build · success
# Email: "Build passed — complete your submission"

Or use the CLI

The Kyper CLI gives you the full pipeline from your terminal — useful for initial project setup, local testing, and one-off pushes. Auto-detects your stack, generates config, handles archiving and uploads.

  • ✓ Auto-detects Rails, Django, Laravel, Go, Next.js, Express, and more
  • ✓ Interactive setup wizard with kyper init
  • ✓ Real-time build log streaming and version management
  • ✓ Full --json mode for scripting
~/myapp — Terminal
$ kyper init
App name: invoice-hero
Stack detected: Rails 8.1
Pricing: $49 one-time / $12/mo hosted
✓ kyper.yml created
$ kyper push
✓ Build complete · Security scan passed
✓ Version 1.0.0 submitted

Simple economics

Two pricing models. Both transparent. You don't pay us until someone pays you.

One-time purchases — 15% commission

You set the price, we take 15%. Stripe fees are separate.

Your price Kyper (15%) Stripe (~2.9% + $0.30) You earn
$29 $4.35 $1.14 $23.51
$49 $7.35 $1.72 $39.93
$99 $14.85 $3.17 $80.98

Subscriptions — you keep 100% of your price

You set a monthly royalty and keep all of it. Kyper adds an infrastructure fee to cover the dedicated server, database, and storage for each subscriber. The consumer sees one combined price.

Your royalty Infra fee (Hobby) Consumer pays You earn
$9/mo $5.00 $14.00/mo $9.00/mo
$12/mo $5.00 $17.00/mo $12.00/mo
$25/mo $5.00 $30.00/mo $25.00/mo

Infra fee shown is for the Hobby tier. Higher tiers provide more resources and cost more. Consumers choose their tier after subscribing.

Payouts monthly via Stripe Connect. $25 minimum. You're responsible for your own taxes.
